Conventional LED lights is the size of a button on clothes. However, the MINI-LED light are as small as a rice grain. When the size is smaller, this TV can have more lights behind the same screen area, but the thickness is much thinner than conventional DLED TVs.

The 10K+ backlights are divided into 1280 local dimming zones and the brightness of each zone can be controlled individually. The edge between the dark and bright objects is clear and sharp.
